Happy 4th of July!

Hot. Like a firecracker.
Hey everyone in the U.S.A.- have a happy day today. Enjoy what freedom you have left to you maybe by riding a bicycle. But if you do- please be careful out there.

Around these parts, the temperatures are to reach close to the century mark again and with the humidity figured in, it will feel well over 100F today.

So if you are planning a big ride, be careful. drink plenty of fluids, take an electrolytic, (I recommend elete products myself), and get in the shade to rest often. Don't push it too hard out there today!

I rode yesterday afternoon for an hour and a half and I must be getting acclimated, because I didn't think it was too bad. However; it is kicking the living daylights out of every plant out there. Things are wilting at an amazing pace. Trees are dropping leaves like crazy. It's gonna be a brown fall, with little color, if this goes on much longer.

Well, enough doom and gloom. Have a great day folks!
